Protecting People in an Integrated World - WithScotland 2015 Conference

WithScotland is hosting a two-day conference on 17th and 18th of November at Stirling Court Hotel, University of Stirling.  On both days, the conference will open at 9.30am (coffee and registration from 8.45am) and finish by 4.30pm.

‘Protecting People in an Integrated World’ will explore the challenges and opportunities of health and social care integration on services, children and adults at risk of harm, and on the professionals who are supporting them. Our conference has been organised in response to delegate feedback from our 2014 event and from the growing interest across our network in the issues of governance, accountability and the effects of integration on practice at a local level.  The 17th of November will focus on 'Protecting Children in an Integrated World'  and the 18th on 'Protecting Adults in an Integrated World'.  There will be opportunities to discuss issues of relevance to the protection of children and adult support and protection during our workshops.

Getting here / parking  - The university campus is very busy at this time of year. The use of public transport and car sharing is encouraged. If you do need to travel by car, please allow plenty of time for parking. There is a free car park at the Stirling Court Hotel but spaces are limited - once this is full, delegates will need to use a nearby pay and display car park within the grounds of the University. A parking marshall will be directing traffic and, if necessary, a shuttle bus will be available to transport delegates.
