Of all of the 3* hotels in Fort Worth the best one, in my opinion, was the hyatt-place-cityview.fortworth-hotels.com. Normally, not a hotel that you equate with luxury such as the Marriott, Hilton, Intercontinental, or even the Radisson, which along with the Park Inn and Park Plaza make up the family of hotels in the Goldpoints rewards program. One thing that the Hyatt Place Fort Worth Cityview has that no other hotel in Fort Worth does, is that it sits near Benbrook Lake and Pacan Valley Golf Course. Literally, you can watch all proffecional golf competitions from your room balcony if you are lucky.
The Hyatt Place Fort Worth Cityview hotel offers many amenities and services. There is a large pool located next to hotel where you can swim. There are two separate pools for adults and children as well as a Jacuzzi. There is a gift shop as well as a travel agency on site that can assist in booking tours. Internet access is complimentary through the business center where there are four computers for use or if you have your own, they have complimentary Wi-Fi service. For those wanting to be active, there is an indoor fitness center and lighted tennis courts. They also offer laundry facilities, room service, shuttle service for a fee, and the bilingual staff can assist with any questions you may have. There is a pay phone in the lobby which takes a credit card if you need to call international. We made a call from our room to the US and it was a pricey $3 a minute. Much more about useful stuff I found here – meetings-conventions.com/Meeting-Facilities/Fort-Worth/Convention-Hotel/Hyatt-Place-Fort-Worth-Cityview-p2036167.
The hotel also offers discounts at the Pecan Valley Golf Course, which is an 18-hole Par 72 championship course surrounded by the rainforest of Pecan Valley Park. There are bike rental services outside the hotel and guests can rent cars for long journeys.
The Hyatt Place Fort Worth Cityview hotel offers a complimentary American style breakfast buffet in the dining room serving eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, cereal, and pastries. An American chain restaurant, it serves burgers, steaks, and salads with a full bar. You can eat inside the restaurant or take it to the pool area.
The hotel offers military and AAA discounts. Children under 15 stay free with each paying adult. The rooms are reasonably priced. During the high season, my suite was $140 a night. Parking is complimentary. After the journey my wife found the cheapest prices at this website: careers.interstatehotels.com/employers/hyatt-place-cityview.
