East Renfrewshire Child Protection Committee are celebrating the publication of their new Child Protection Guidance for Voluntary, Private and Community Groups in East Renfrewshire. Caren McLean, Lead Officer Child Protection said “The Voluntary, Private and Community Group members are delighted to be able to offer all groups who hold activities for children and young people in our communities revised child protection guidance to ensure children and young people are safe and protected from harm or abuse, whilst undertaking activities that encourage them to develop and grow”.
