The annual Children’s Panel recruitment campaign gets underway on Monday 25 August. People from all over Scotland and from all walks of life are being sought to ensure the system can continue to offer the best support for those children and young people who need it most. To become a Children’s Panel member you don’t need any special qualifications, as intensive training is provided. However, panel members must be aged 18 or over and have the time to commit to the training schedule and on-going hearing sessions. If you or anyone you know may be interested in volunteering for the Children’s Panel, please visit www.childrenspanelscotland.org from 25 August onwards. The campaign runs from Monday 25 August to Monday 15 September.
